Events in Carnac

Between music festivals, sporting regattas, shows for the little ones, you won’t have time to get bored in Carnac! The water sports lovers will delight with numerous regattas organised all year round by the Yacht Club. At the beginning of May, the Eurocat race is the big event for the sport catamaran. The RS championship at the end of May, brings together more than a hundred boats for a superb show that will delight all lovers of boating. In June, it is the runners who take over by competing for the famous Raid of megaliths. And in September, the Breizhskiff Trophy rewards the best racers who compete for two days.


Music lovers will be able to enjoy the Terraqué festival at the end of August and the beginning of September, the programme has been set in 2017 by Clement Mao. Music takes over the most beautiful places in the city, from the Saint-Cornély church to the small chapels of the city, passing through the Church Square.


In late July and early August, don’t miss the Skedanoz festival («Sparkling Nights»): a sound and light show that illuminates the megaliths of Carnac. A magical rendezvous, to attempt as a family. The little ones will also be able to enjoy, during the school holidays, the «Place aux Mômes» shows.
